dawn self portrait

A few weeks ago I was up very early in the morning and walked over to Fisherman’s Wharf, where I got a cup of coffee at a Starbucks which opened at 5 am in the morning. I then walked over to the Wharf, listened to the seals barking, and then as dawn rose I walked from the wharf to the Ferry Building. Along the way I took this shot of myself reflected in the window of one of the piers buildings along the waterfront.

Early in January I was in Long Island working with David Spector, my partner on our new company, NELA, which we are launching later this year. We took a short break to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather and drove to a nearby town where we walked along the pier. I took this shot of a sailboat floating on the crystaline clear water.

A chance shot I took in a hotel lobby Friday night here in San Francisco, I took this while I had my camera out showing other shots to two friends. This is a reflection, not a glass table, but I enjoyed the illusion.

One of my favorite shots I have taken with my new digital camera. This was taken while I was at a retreat in northern VA during the fall of 2006.
